In 2017, she received a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School’s Summer Intensive and attended the 3 week summer intensive in New York City where she trained under many teachers and professional dancers such as Hee Seo, a principle dancer at American Ballet Theatre. At a competition in 2018, Bianca was one of 20 dancers invited to the View Dance Challenge’s Dance Intensive and performance in Greece. At the intensive, she learned and performed a full length show in five days.
Since the age of 12, Bianca has assisted 5678 staff in the styles of ballet, jazz, and contemporary. She now teaches junior contemporary, and is a young choreographer for 5678 Dance Studio’s competitive team. In 2018, Bianca won the Young Choreographer Award at Shine Dance Competition. As well as her love for dance, Bianca’s passion for teaching and helping youth in the community extends beyond the studio. She has recently begun working on The Maltby Centre’s Youth Advisory Committee for Mental Health and Autism resources where she uses her unique perspective on youth in the dance and Kingston community to help make resources more available and youth friendly. She looks forward to continuing her dedication to the 5678 Dance Community as a dancer, teacher, and young choreographer!
